Elvis Presley - Rags To Riches (Vol. 4-Hundred Years From)
(Words & music by Adler - Ross)
I know I'd go from rags to riches
If you would only say you cared
And though my pockets may be empty
I'd be a millionaire
My clothes may still be torn and tattered
But in my heart I'd be a king
Your love is all that ever mattered
It's everything
So open your arms and you'll open the door
To all the treasure that I'm living for
Hold me and kiss me and tell me you're mine evermore
Must I forever stay a beggar
Whose golden dreams will not come true
Or will I go from rags to riches
My fate is up to you
Elvis Presley-Rags to Riches (01:54)
this is Elvis` version of Tony Bennet`s song. it has no back vocals because of mistake made in RCA.
But, when you listen to it, you can`t even think that something misses. Elvis sings it just great
if that dont wet a womans knickers then i give up

@soulmziklova I would agree that Chuck Berry was a better PERFORMER....Elvis has better lyrics, a better voice, and appealed to millions more across the world..Mr. Berry was a legend in his own time and his own country...yet, still a legend....and Chuck D is racist. You can't call someone a fucking racist and then quote one! You are ignorant.
